Table of Contents
This cottage garden scrapbook paper set gathers 21 sheets that work as a journal base, a card mat or a pocket lining all year round. Rosebuds, cornflowers, toile scenes, checks and tiny garden icons sit side by side so you can mix and match without anything clashing.
Print on US Letter, borderless if your printer allows it, or print with the standard margin and trim the white edge with a ruler. Matte paper or cardstock holds the colours best for journals, cards and gift wrap alike.
Using these images: free for personal projects such as printing, coloring, cards, journals and gifts. Handmade items that include them may be sold up to 30 pieces per design. More than that is commercial use and is not permitted, and neither is selling or sharing the images themselves or passing them off as your own. Please ask before any other use.
Florals and Sprigs
Small pink rosebuds and green leaves scatter loosely across a clean white ground, light enough to sit under a photo without fighting it on a journal page.
Blue cornflowers toss loosely over a pale sky blue ground, a calm choice for a card mat behind a cut paper bird or butterfly sticker.
Tiny daisies repeat in a tight ditsy pattern on soft mint, a steady fill that lines an envelope or pocket without pulling focus from what sits inside.
Checks and Stripes
Blush pink and white gingham check carries a fine woven texture, a gentle backdrop for a card mat under a pressed flower or a handwritten tag.
Thin sage green stripes alternate with rows of tiny rosebuds on white, a tidy base for a gift wrap that pairs well with the gingham paper above.
Soft green buffalo check with thin white lines makes a sturdy folio cover for a garden themed junk journal that needs to hold up to handling.
Fine blue ticking stripes run straight down a white ground, a plain, dependable mat for a card that needs a quieter background behind a busier sticker.
Sprigs and Vines
Lavender sprigs line up in neat diagonal rows on pale lilac, a soft pocket lining that suits a purple garden flower page.
Climbing sweet peas twine up the page on white, a pretty wrap for a small gift or a cover for a folio that holds pressed flowers.
Thin green vines with small leaves wind across a white ground, a quiet base that pairs naturally with the sweet pea paper for a layered pocket page.
Scenes and Icons
A blue and white toile shows cottage gardens, picket fences and birdhouses, a strong choice for a journal base behind a cottage garden photo.
Tiny watering cans, trowels and seed pots sit as small icons on white, a fun card mat behind a sticker for anyone who loves a potting shed theme.
Bumblebees and clover flowers repeat in a half-drop pattern on pale mint, a cheerful pocket lining to match any bee watercolor page.
A pale blue and white harlequin carries tiny dots at the corners, a crisp card mat for a diorama or a layered gift tag.
Roses and Peonies
Pale pink roses repeat tone on tone in a damask on blush, an elegant book cover for a journal that needs a quieter, formal page.
Pink peonies and green leaves fill the page in a large dense floral on white, best as a journal base under a single bold photo, as suits a peony junk journal page.
Forget-me-not clusters toss all over a white ground, a soft pairing for the rose damask paper above on a layered card front.
Fruit and Lace
Small strawberries and white blossoms scatter on a pale pink ground, a sweet pocket lining for a summer page, matching a watercolor strawberries theme.
White polka dots in two sizes dot a soft blush ground, a simple mat behind a cut sticker that pairs easily with the strawberry paper.
A white lace doily print covers a soft aqua ground, a delicate book cover or envelope lining for a vintage style keepsake page.
Butterflies and small wildflowers scatter on a pale lilac ground, a light final touch for wrapping a small gift or lining a keepsake box.
What to Do Next
Download the set, print a few favourites first on plain paper to check the trim size, then move on to cardstock for the pieces going into cards or journal covers.
Frequently Asked Questions
What paper weight works best for these printables?
Matte cardstock between 80 and 110 lb gives the cleanest result for card making and journal covers. Lighter matte paper around 24 to 32 lb suits pockets, envelope linings and wrapped gifts where folding matters more than stiffness.
Can I print these borderless?
Yes, if your printer supports borderless printing, select that setting and choose US Letter for an edge to edge pattern with no white margin. Otherwise print normally and trim the thin white border off with a ruler and craft knife or paper trimmer.
Should I use A4 or US Letter?
Use US Letter if your printer and paper tray are set to that size, since the sheets are built for it. A4 users can print at fit to page and trim slightly, or scale to 100 percent and accept a small margin on one edge.
Can these sheets work as gift wrap?
Yes, several patterns in this set, including the rosebud stripe and sweet pea climb papers, wrap small gifts nicely. Print a few sheets, tape the edges together for larger items, and tie with plain string or ribbon to let the pattern show.
How do I keep the colours accurate when printing?
Set your printer to its best or photo quality mode and choose matte or presentation paper in the print dialogue. Avoid draft mode, which thins out the pale grounds and can shift soft pinks and blues toward grey.
