This set of vintage aesthetic stickers printables gathers 29 sheets of the small objects that make a journal page feel like it came from an old house attic: cameras, clocks, keys, sewing notions, teacups, luggage and lace, each sheet its own quiet corner of that world. There is a sheet for the writing desk, one for the vanity table, one for the kitchen shelf and more besides, so you can build a whole vintage journal without repeating a single object.
Print the sheets on printable sticker paper for a true peel-and-stick set, or on plain matte paper if you plan to glue the pieces in by hand. Print at actual size rather than letting the printer scale to fit the page, and leave a thin white border around each piece when you cut, since it keeps the fine ink line from getting clipped.
Using these images: free for personal projects such as printing, coloring, cards, journals and gifts. Handmade items that include them may be sold up to 30 pieces per design. More than that is commercial use and is not permitted, and neither is selling or sharing the images themselves or passing them off as your own. Please ask before any other use.
The Study Shelf
Set a box camera, a folding camera, a tube radio, a transistor radio, a rotary phone and a gramophone on one sheet, six pieces of old technology for a travel page or a letters-and-wires spread.
These read well shrunk down small in a planner margin, and because every piece is a separate object you can scatter them across a week instead of using the whole sheet in one spot.
A typewriter, an inkwell, a stamp holder, a desk bell, a brass lamp and a blotter fill this sheet, the small furnishings of a writing desk that pair naturally with the cameras and radios sheet for a full study-corner spread.
Time and Keepsakes
Print this one on sticker paper if you want it to hold its shape on a round planner cover, since the carriage clock and mantel clock have small curved feet that can crumple if the paper is too thin. On plain paper with a glue stick they still sit beautifully flat inside a journal, which suits most everyday pages better anyway.
A pocket watch, a mantel clock, a cuckoo clock, an alarm clock, a carriage clock and a wristwatch make up the sheet, six ways to mark time across a spread. This set pairs naturally with the fuller 32 Free Steampunk Junk Journal Pages With Brass Gears, Airships and Pocket Watches if you want more clockwork pieces to work with.
A skeleton key, a key ring, a key with a tassel, a brass key, a keyhole plate and a key on a ribbon sit on this sheet, six keys for the border of a page about memories or secrets kept.
Hands at Work
Use a craft knife rather than scissors for the loop of the thimble and the small gap in the shears, since those tight inner curves are tricky to clean up with a scissor blade alone. Everything else on this sheet cuts easily with regular small scissors.
A pincushion, a thimble, a spool of thread, a pair of shears, a tape measure and a button card round out the sheet, a full sewing basket in six pieces for anyone who stitches between journal pages.
A perfume atomizer, a powder box, a brush set, a compact, a hair comb and a hand mirror fill this vanity-table sheet, six small luxuries for a page about getting ready or a gift tag for someone who loves old glamour.
Packed for Travel
A suitcase, a hatbox, a steamer trunk, a carpet bag, a train case and a doctor bag give you six pieces of old-fashioned travel gear for a holiday spread or the cover of a trip journal.
A stack of leather books, a magnifying glass, a reading lamp, a bookmark, a book stand and a pair of spectacles sit together on this sheet, suited to a reading nook page or tucked along the edge of a book review spread.
Pair it with the luggage sheet for a traveller-and-reader theme, or set it beside a letter page for a quieter, stay-at-home corner instead.
Pantry and China
A jar of dried herbs, an apothecary bottle, a mortar and pestle, a jar of buttons, a seed jar and a spice tin make up this sheet, six containers for a pantry page or a potions-and-remedies corner of a journal.
Set a rose teacup, a gilded saucer, a teapot, a creamer, a sugar bowl and a cake plate on an envelope flap or along the bottom of an invitation and the whole thing reads instantly as a tea party. These six pieces make a full table setting without crowding anything.
They sit well beside the recipes in 12 Cake Drawing Aesthetic Step by Step Lessons for Vintage Bows, Cherries and Buttercream if you want to build out a full tea-party spread.
Dressed for the Day
A top hat, a cloche, a fedora, a straw boater, a feathered hat and a bonnet give this sheet six silhouettes of old-fashioned headwear, good for a fashion page or a card for someone who loves period costume.
A lace-up boot, a mary jane, a two-tone oxford, a satin slipper, a button boot and a clog sit on this sheet, six shoe styles that pair naturally with the hats sheet for a full dressing-room page. The fashion lessons in 29 Fashion Sketchbook Ideas of Street Style, Vintage Dresses and Capsule Wardrobes make a good next stop if this sheet gets you drawing again.
Far Horizons
A compass, a sextant, a telescope, a globe, a spyglass and a ship in a bottle make up this sheet of six seafaring instruments, right for a travel journal or a card for someone setting off on an adventure.
Cut the scalloped edges of the lace doily and the lace collar slowly, since those tight little curves are where most of the detail of this sheet lives. A lace doily, an embroidered handkerchief, a lace collar, a linen napkin, a lace table runner and a crochet coaster fill out the rest of the sheet, six textures for softening a page full of harder objects like keys or tools.
Garden Room
A gilded birdcage, a canary, a songbird on a perch, a bird nest, a speckled egg and a feather make a gentle six-piece sheet, suited to a spring page or a card for a baby or a new home. For more birds to mix in, the 28 Free Bird Junk Journal Pages With Songbirds, Nests and Old Birdhouses set has plenty of company for this sheet.
An oil lamp, a gas lamp, a candle lantern, a stained glass lamp, a hurricane lamp and a lamp with a fringe shade light up this sheet, six lamp styles good for a cosy evening page or the border of a winter spread.
Letters and Parcels
A blank postage stamp, a postmark circle, an airmail envelope, a wax seal, a parcel and a postcard sit on this sheet, six paper pieces for the envelope flap or margin of any letter-themed journal page.
A ticket stub, a playing card, a blank calling card, a paper doily, a bookplate frame and a label frame make up this sheet. The two frames leave room to write a name or a date inside, so keep a fine pen on hand once you have stuck them down.
Pair this sheet with the old postage sheet for a full correspondence theme, since calling cards and postmarks belong together on the same spread.
Keepsake Drawer
A cameo brooch, a strand of pearls, a gold locket, a charm bracelet, a ring box and a hat pin fill this sheet, six small treasures suited to a page about family heirlooms or a card for an anniversary.
Short on time, print just this sheet and the paper pieces sheet together, cut out five pieces from each and tuck them straight onto a gift box lid for a five-minute vintage wrap. A biscuit tin, a tea tin, a cigar box, a candy tin, a sewing box and a jewelry casket make up the full sheet of six containers.
Nursery Corner
A teddy bear, a tin robot, a wooden horse, a spinning top, a porcelain doll and a toy sailboat sit on this sheet, six playthings that work well on a childhood memory page or a gift tag for a young relative.
A coffee grinder, a kitchen scale, a flour sifter, an egg beater, a cookie jar and a bread box round out this sheet of six kitchen tools, good for a recipe page or a card for someone who loves to bake.
Curiosity Cabinet
A luna moth, a scarab, a stag beetle, a hawk moth, a jewel beetle and a cicada give this sheet six specimens, drawn the way an old natural history plate might lay them out, right for a nature page or a curiosity cabinet spread.
A violin, a sheet music page, a metronome, a harp, a mandolin and a phonograph fill this sheet, six instruments and pieces of music gear for a page about a favourite song or a card for a musician. The 31 Music Doodle Ideas of Singing Birds, Dancing Teapots and Tiny Bands collection has more to draw alongside it if the theme catches you.
Evening Light
A brass candlestick, a chamberstick, a candelabra, a taper candle, a church candle and a candle snuffer make up this sheet, six candle styles for a winter page or a quiet evening spread.
A rose in a bud vase, a lily in an urn, a bouquet in a jug, a tulip in a glass, a peony in a bowl and a violet in a pot sit on this sheet, each flower already arranged so you can place a single piece and the page reads as finished.
Cut close around the base of each vase and leave the thin white border around the flower heads, since that border reads as a highlight once the sticker sits on coloured paper.
Workshop Corner
A hand drill, a wood plane, a pair of pliers, a hammer, a brass level and a folding ruler make up this sheet of six workshop tools, suited to a page about a grandfather’s shed or a handmade card for a hobbyist.
A penny farthing, a tricycle, a vintage bike with a basket, a pram, a scooter and a wagon fill out this sheet, six wheeled things from a bygone street that bring motion to a page otherwise full of still objects.
An oval mirror, a gilded frame, a round frame, a frame with roses, a carved frame and a sunburst mirror close out the set, six frames and mirrors you can use empty for decoration or fill with a small photo or a drawn portrait of your own. What to Do Next
Print the sheets that match your next project first, start with just two or three if you are new to this, and build the rest of the set as you need them.
Frequently Asked Questions
What paper works best for these vintage stickers?
Printable sticker paper works best for true peel-and-stick pieces that hold their shape when cut. Plain matte paper with a glue stick is a fine substitute and often sits flatter inside a thick journal.
What printer settings should I use?
Print at actual size or 100 percent, never fit to page, so every object stays true to scale across the full set. Choose your printer’s best or photo quality setting for crisp fine lines.
How do I cut out the small, detailed pieces?
Use small detail scissors for outer edges and a craft knife for tight inner curves like thimble loops or scalloped lace. Leave a thin white border around each piece rather than cutting exactly on the line.
Can I use these stickers on gifts and cards, not just journals?
Yes, every sheet works equally well on gift wrap, envelope flaps and handmade card fronts. Tins, teacups and jewelry box pieces are especially nice on a wrapped box lid or an invitation.
How many sheets do I need for a full journal spread?
Two or three sheets from the same section give a cohesive spread without repeating objects. Mixing a section like Pantry and China with a softer one like Lace and Linens balances hard and soft textures well.
