Vintage fruit stickers bring the look of old botanical prints and painted kitchen china to any page, with apples, pears, citrus and berries drawn the way a grandmother’s recipe box might have looked. This set covers 28 sheets of fruit, from a single cherry to a whole market stall with a striped awning, so a recipe journal or a stack of handmade cards never runs short of pretty things to cut out.
Print the sheets on printable sticker paper for a peel-and-stick set, or use plain paper and a glue stick for the same look at less cost. Either way, print at actual size with no page scaling, and leave a thin white border around each piece when you cut so the ink line stays crisp.
Using these images: free for personal projects such as printing, coloring, cards, journals and gifts. Handmade items that include them may be sold up to 30 pieces per design. More than that is commercial use and is not permitted, and neither is selling or sharing the images themselves or passing them off as your own. Please ask before any other use.
Pears
A red apple, a green apple, an apple slice, an apple on a branch, a crab apple pair and an apple blossom sprig fill this sheet with every stage of one orchard favorite, from bud to fruit to cut piece. Tuck the slice or the blossom sprig into the corner of a recipe card where a full apple would crowd the page.
Print on plain paper if the journal page already has a busy background, since the glued edge disappears better than a glossy sticker edge does. Save the branch piece for a page about orchard visits or apple picking.
A green pear, a red pear, a pear half, a pear on a branch, a quince and a pear in a bowl give this sheet a quieter, softer cousin to the apple set, good for autumn pages and pear tart recipes.
The quince has a fuzzy, irregular shape that reads well even small, so it works nicely tucked beside a handwritten recipe title. Pair this sheet with the apple stickers above for a two-sheet orchard spread.
Citrus
A lemon, an orange, a lime, a grapefruit half, a blood orange slice and a kumquat branch bring sunny color to a page of fruit that otherwise leans toward apples and berries. The grapefruit half and blood orange slice show their inner segments, a nice touch for any citrus-themed spread like the one in the lemon junk journal set.
Cherry pair, cherry branch, a bowl of cherries, a cherry pie slice, a cherry jar and a single cherry cover every way this fruit shows up in a kitchen journal, from the tree to the dessert plate, in one compact 20 to 30 word sheet.
A strawberry, a raspberry, a blackberry, a blueberry sprig, a gooseberry and a red currant give this sheet a whole basket of summer fruit in miniature, each one small enough to scatter across a planner week without crowding it.
Berries work beautifully as sticker confetti: dot a few across the top of a page instead of placing one large sticker in a corner. The red currant, with its tiny strung fruit, adds the most detail of the group, so a craft knife helps keep its thin stems clean when cutting close.
A plum, a peach, an apricot, a nectarine, a greengage and a damson sit side by side on this sheet, a soft palette of purples, pinks and golds that reads as warm and late-summer wherever it lands.
A purple grape bunch, a green grape bunch, a vine leaf, a grape tendril, a raisin pile and a wine grape cluster turn one fruit into a full vineyard sheet, useful for any page about wine country or a harvest table.
The vine leaf and tendril work as small filler pieces around the larger bunches, much like a border. Leave the thin white edge around the tendril when cutting, since its curling shape is easy to clip by accident.
A pineapple, a mango, a papaya, a banana bunch, a passion fruit and a coconut bring a brighter, bolder set of shapes into the mix, good for a travel journal page or a summer recipe spread that wants something other than orchard fruit.
A watermelon slice, a cantaloupe, a honeydew wedge, a melon half, a melon ball bowl and a striped melon fill this sheet with cool green and pink shapes, a nice counterpoint to the warmer orchard sheets elsewhere in the set.
The melon ball bowl is the most detailed piece here, so it reads best printed larger rather than shrunk to match a small sticker row. Pair this sheet with the fruit drinks sheet for a picnic-themed journal spread.
A fig, a fig half, a pomegranate, a pomegranate half, a seed pile and a fig leaf give this sheet rich jewel tones, the cut halves showing the seeds and flesh inside for a more botanical, almost scientific feel.
A fruit bowl, a footed compote, a wicker fruit basket, a fruit platter, a tiered stand of fruit and a colander of fruit turn single pieces of fruit into little still life scenes, each one holding a different mix of apples, pears and berries.
These larger pieces work well as a page’s main sticker, with smaller single-fruit stickers from other sheets scattered around it. The tiered stand suits a card for an afternoon tea theme especially well.
A strawberry jam jar, a marmalade jar, a plum jam pot, a jelly mold, a canning jar and a jam spoon fill a shelf’s worth of homemade preserves onto one sheet, each jar labeled simply enough to read even printed small.
Fruit Desserts
An apple pie, a lemon tart, a peach cobbler, a berry trifle, a pear tart and a fruit cake cover the dessert table end of this set, each one drawn as a finished slice or whole dish rather than raw ingredients.
These make a sweet addition to a recipe box card or a baking-themed planner cover, and they pair naturally with the cake drawing aesthetic lessons for anyone who wants to sketch a matching dessert by hand. Keep the trifle’s layered glass intact when cutting, since its rounded sides are the trickiest curve on the sheet.
A wooden crate of oranges, a peach basket, a berry punnet, a fruit box, a bushel basket and a lemon crate recreate the stacked wooden containers of an old-fashioned fruit stand, each one labeled plainly like a produce market sign.
An orange branch with blossoms, a lemon branch, an olive branch, a pomegranate branch, a fig branch and a plum branch bring the orchard itself onto the page, each branch carrying both leaves and fruit.
These branches suit the top or side edge of a journal spread better than the center, almost like a frame made of growing fruit. The olive branch reads as the most neutral of the six, useful on a page that otherwise leans sweet and bright.
A lemonade pitcher, an orange juice glass, a cherry soda, a berry smoothie, a peach iced tea and an apple cider jug round out a summer drinks sheet, each glass or jug filled with its matching fruit color.
A bird on a cherry branch, a robin with a berry, a parrot with a mango, a bird with a fig, a sparrow on an apple and a bluebird on a pear bring small songbirds and one bright parrot into the fruit set, each paired with a different fruit.
These make lovely envelope seals or the final touch on a handmade card, since a tiny bird reads as both sweet and finished on its own. For more birds to mix in, the vintage aesthetic stickers printables set has a similar old-print feel.
A picnic basket of fruit, a strawberry punnet, a fruit skewer, a fruit salad bowl, a bucket of peaches and a fruit knife gather the makings of an outdoor summer spread, each piece small and portable like the picnic itself.
A dragon fruit, a lychee, a star fruit, a kiwi, a rambutan and a persimmon step outside the usual orchard fruit for something less common, each one chosen for a shape or color the rest of the set doesn’t already have.
Star fruit and persimmon both hold their shape well even printed small, so this sheet suits a planner week that wants a splash of unusual color without a large sticker. A beginner can start with just the kiwi and dragon fruit, leaving the rest for later pages.
A strawberry with a flower, a lemon with blossoms, a blackberry with flowers, an orange with leaves, a cherry with blossoms and a quince with leaves pair six fruits with their own blooms, a true botanical-print touch for the whole set.
Fruit and Gingham
A gingham bowl of cherries, a gingham apron with lemons, a gingham napkin with apples, a gingham jar cover, a gingham basket of berries and a gingham tablecloth corner bring a checked pattern into the fruit set, the kind of fabric print that shows up in old farmhouse kitchens.
These pair especially well with the vintage kitchen junk journal pages for anyone building a full kitchen-themed journal. The tablecloth corner works nicely as a page border rather than a standalone sticker.
A strawberry danish, a cherry turnover, a blueberry muffin, a raspberry scone, an apple strudel and a lemon bun fill this sheet with bakery treats, each pastry showing its fruit filling peeking through.
A teacup with cherries, a strawberry teapot, a lemon plate, a peach creamer, a plum sugar bowl and a grape cup turn painted kitchen china into the fruit itself, as if each piece came from a set of hand-painted dishes.
This sheet suits a tea-themed card best of all, since the teacup and teapot can stand in for the whole set on their own. Print on sticker paper for a cleaner finish if the china pieces will sit on a plain card front rather than a busy journal page.
An orange half, a lemon slice, a kiwi slice, an apple core, a peach half and a strawberry half show the inside of six fruits, each cut piece useful as a small detail sticker beside its whole-fruit cousin from another sheet.
An apple tree, a lemon tree in a pot, an orange tree, a cherry tree, a pear tree and a fig tree bring six full trees onto one sheet, each shown small enough to fit a journal margin but detailed enough to show its own fruit and leaf shape.
The potted lemon tree suits an indoor garden page especially well, while the rest work for any orchard or farmhouse spread. These trees also pair nicely with the orchard scenes in the fall watercolor paintings collection for anyone painting alongside the stickers.
What to Do Next
Print the sheets that fit the next page first, perhaps the cherries and the fruit bowl, then work through the rest of the set as new journal pages and cards come up.
Frequently Asked Questions
What paper works best for vintage fruit stickers?
Printable sticker paper gives a true peel-and-stick finish, matte rather than glossy to match the botanical print look. Plain paper and a glue stick work just as well for journals, at lower cost per sheet.
What printer settings give the sharpest lines?
Set the printer to actual size or 100 percent, never fit to page, so the fine ink outlines stay crisp. Choose the highest quality or photo setting available for the cleanest watercolor fill.
How do you cut out the fruit shapes cleanly?
Leave a thin white border around each piece rather than cutting exactly on the ink line, which protects the drawing from stray scissor marks. A craft knife helps with tight inner curves like the grape tendril or jelly mold handle.
Can these stickers go on gifts as well as journals?
Yes, they suit jam jar lids, gift wrap and the front of a recipe card just as well as a journal page. A single fig or cherry branch sticker also works nicely as an envelope seal.
How should the 28 sheets be organized once printed?
Group the sheets by theme, such as orchard fruit, preserves and desserts, kitchen tools and market scenes, then store each group in its own envelope or folder. This makes it faster to find the right sticker while building a recipe journal page.
