Table of Contents
This green scrapbook paper set gathers twenty four all-over patterns built around herbs, leaves and garden motifs, from basil sprigs and fern fronds to a sage toile of beehives and vegetable rows. It suits garden journals, nature cards and any page that wants a fresh, leafy ground without a single flower showing up twice.
Print the sheets on US Letter, either borderless or with a thin trim at the edge, and use matte paper if the pages are going into a journal. Each one is a single repeating pattern edge to edge, so there is no center image to work around when you cut, fold or layer.
Using these images: free for personal projects such as printing, coloring, cards, journals and gifts. Handmade items that include them may be sold up to 30 pieces per design. More than that is commercial use and is not permitted, and neither is selling or sharing the images themselves or passing them off as your own. Please ask before any other use.
Herb Sprigs
Scattered herb sprigs on a clean white ground make an easy base layer under a garden photo or a pressed leaf, with plenty of white space left for handwriting.
Tiny lemons sit over a green and white gingham check, a cheerful mat behind a citrus sticker or a card for anyone who keeps a kitchen herb pot.
Fern and Fronds
Ivy vines climb loosely over white, a good lining for an envelope or the inside flap of a folio where a thread of green peeks out at the edge.
Fruit and Orchard
Whole green pears toss freely across white, pairing well with the gingham lemon paper above for a set of fruit themed card mats.
A sage green toile of herb beds and beehives gives a quieter, old fashioned ground for a garden journal cover or a folio that holds pressed flowers.
Small four leaf clovers scatter across pale green, a cheerful backing for a lucky charm sticker or the lining of a small gift box.
Stripes and Checks
Eucalyptus branches run across white in a calm, airy print, a natural choice for wrapping a small gift when the ribbon is kept plain.
Green apples sit among small blossoms on a pale mint ground, a soft base for a nature journal page or a card mat under a dried flower.
Garden Rows
A green damask on a matching tone gives a quiet, formal ground for a card mat behind a monogram or a sticker that needs no competition.
Olive branches repeat across pale sage, pairing naturally with the herb garden toile paper for a Mediterranean feeling spread in a travel journal.
Even rows of small green dots on white make a plain, flexible ground, good for a journal base under a photo that already carries its own color.
Tiny succulents in little pots repeat across white like icons, a fun lining for a pocket page holding plant cuttings or seed packets.
Stripe and Ticking
Green and white ticking stripes carry tiny bees along each line, a good match for the gingham lemon paper when a card needs two patterns that agree.
Lily pads and little frogs sit on pale aqua, a playful ground for a nature journal page about ponds or a card for a young gardener.
A soft green plaid with thin white lines gives a cozy, woven look, suited to a journal cover or the base of a card mat under a pressed herb.
Woodland Green
Green tea leaves and small teacups repeat across white, a gentle base for a recipe journal page or the inside of a folio kept for tea notes.
Leaf garland swags repeat in loose rows across white, a good match for the ivy vine paper if a journal spread wants two climbing greens together.
Artichokes, leeks and peas repeat across white in a simple vegetable print, a natural cover for a recipe book or a garden journal section divider.
Ginkgo leaves toss loosely across pale mint, a quiet finish for the back of a card or the final page of this green scrapbook paper set when the journal wants to end on a calm note.
What to Do Next
Pick a handful of sheets that suit the next page or card on the list, print them on matte paper, and start cutting: the rest of the set will keep for whenever the journal needs more green.
Frequently Asked Questions
What paper weight works best for these green scrapbook paper sheets?
A weight between 24 and 32 lb works well for most uses. Heavier cardstock around 65 lb suits card mats and gift tags, while standard paper is fine for journal pages that need to fold easily.
Can I print these sheets borderless?
Yes, borderless printing works if the printer supports it, since each pattern already runs edge to edge. If the printer leaves a white margin, trim it off with a paper trimmer for a cleaner look.
Does this set work on A4 as well as US Letter?
Yes, the patterns scale fine to A4, though the printed sheet will be slightly taller and narrower than US Letter. Set the printer to fit to page rather than actual size to keep the full pattern on the sheet.
Can I use these papers as gift wrap?
Yes, several of the sheets, like the olive branch and eucalyptus branch patterns, work well as small gift wrap. Print a few sheets, tape the edges together for larger gifts, and finish with plain ribbon so the pattern stays the focus.
How do I keep the set looking consistent across a journal?
Stick to two or three papers per spread and let the plainer prints, like the polka dot or tone on tone damask, carry the busier ones. Pairing a dense pattern with a quiet one keeps pages readable rather than crowded.
