Table of Contents
This set of easter paper dolls brings together lambs, chicks, ducks, mice and a few barnyard friends, every one dressed for spring and busy with eggs, flowers or a sweet treat. Use them on handmade cards, gift tags and junk journal pages, or hand a sheet to a grandchild for a quiet afternoon of cutting and colouring.
Print on matte cardstock at actual size, then cut around each doll leaving a thin white edge so the printed line stays visible. Twenty three sheets means plenty to mix and match across a whole stack of spring cards.

Spring Bonnets and Baskets
Perfect for a card to an Easter host or a grandchild who loves anything fluffy, this delighted lamb wears a pastel bonnet and carries a basket piled with eggs, ready to anchor a bright spring greeting.
Mount the basket slightly forward on a foam dot so the eggs lift off the page, and tuck a strip of green paper grass under the rim before gluing it down for a little extra texture.
A tiny chick in a soft knitted cardigan stares wide eyed at a painted egg held up in both wings, perfect for a card that says someone’s gift was a lovely surprise.
Write a cheery line next to this proud duck about dressing up for the occasion, something about best feathers forward for the holiday table.
She wears a polka dot dress and carries a flower crown balanced on both wings, a nice pairing for a card about getting ready for Easter lunch or a spring wedding shower.
A goose in a lilac hat strikes a sassy pose under a tiny parasol, one wing on her hip, a doll with real attitude for a card to the friend who always steals the show.
Easter Craft Table
This giggling little mouse in a spring dress sits with a tiny brush, dabbing colour onto an egg balanced between her paws, a sweet choice for anyone who loves a quiet hobby.
Raise the brush on a foam dot for a touch of depth, and pair her on the same page as the hen with the egg cup tray for a full kitchen table scene.
Eyes half closed and head tipped gently to one side, this lamb in a mint pinafore holds a single white lily, a quiet doll for a sympathy card or a soft spring tag.
This duckling cannot stand still, caught mid bounce in a little sailor suit with a pinwheel spinning overhead, ideal for a birthday card for a small child who loves anything that spins or sparkles.
Glue the pinwheel on a craft stick angled out from the body so it reads as a separate little prop once the doll is mounted on a card front.
Wings spread protectively over a basket at her feet, this hen in an Easter bonnet looks ready to defend her eggs from anyone, a fun doll for a card that teases about guarding the good chocolate.
Spring Garden Friends
A chick in an eggshell skirt throws its wings wide in total surprise, the perfect doll to cut out and pop onto a card announcing happy news or a new arrival.
This shy little fawn in a floral smock holds a bundle of tulips low, peeking out from under long lashes, a gentle doll that works well on a card for a quiet thank you.
She fits beautifully into a spring garden page in a junk journal, tucked beside a strip of washi tape cut to look like a garden fence.
Jaw set and arms wrapped tight around a chocolate egg bigger than her whole body, this determined mouse in a pink coat makes a funny card for anyone who takes chocolate seriously at Easter.
Head thrown back in a real laugh, this lamb in a gingham dress holds up a carrot cake with both hooves, a cheerful centrepiece for a birthday card or a baking themed tag.
Pair her with the chocolate egg mouse on the same spread for a page about Easter treats getting slightly out of hand in the best way.
Showers and Puddles
Clutching a bunch of fresh daffodils with a bright delighted grin, this duck in a yellow raincoat suits any card about April showers bringing flowers, or a simple get well note.
Arms flung up and eyes shining, this goose in a lace collar is overjoyed over a hat box she has just opened, a fun doll for a card about a surprise gift or a shopping trip that went very well.
Score a fold behind her so she stands upright on a mantel or shelf, propped slightly forward at the base for balance.
A small chick in a neat bow tie clutches a jar of jelly beans with a nervous little grimace, as if worried someone might ask to share, a playful doll for a cheeky grandchild’s card.
Head cocked and eyes wide with curiosity, this kitten in a bonnet turns a decorated egg over in its paws as if trying to work out the pattern, a charming addition for a cat lover’s spring card.
Garden Party Treats
This lamb in a ribbon collar giggles mid ring of a little bell held overhead, a lively doll for a card announcing a party, a wedding or simply good news worth celebrating.
Try the five minute version: cut only the outline and skip the bell detail entirely, then colour it in with a single pastel marker for a quick handmade card when time is short.
Chest out and whiskers high, this mouse in a straw hat holds a hot cross bun like a prize, a sweet tag idea for a loaf of homemade bread or a batch of spring baking shared with a neighbour.
Eyelids drooping and basket tipped slightly to one side, this duck in a pastel scarf carries spring grass home after what looks like a long afternoon in the garden.
She works well tucked into the corner of a spring journal page, half hidden behind a strip of patterned paper as if she just wandered into frame.
Feathers slightly ruffled and eyes wide, this flustered hen in an apron balances a tray of egg cups as if she has just remembered guests arrive any minute, a funny match for a card about holiday hosting chaos.
Little Spring Treats
Cheeks pink and grinning wide, this piglet in a pink bonnet holds a small posy of spring flowers tied with ribbon, a gentle doll for a thank you card or a first Easter tag for a baby.
She pairs sweetly with the fawn holding tulips for a page about the garden coming into bloom all at once.
One hoof on her hip and a flower crown tilted just so, this sassy lamb in a cardigan sips from a teacup as if she owns the garden party, a bold choice for a confident card maker ready to add glitter or sequins to the crown.
A small chick in a blue raincoat laughs under an open umbrella, splashing through an imaginary puddle, a cheerful closer for the set and a fun card for anyone who loves rainy spring days as much as sunny ones.
What to Do Next
Print the full set, build a stack of blank cards and keep the leftover dolls in an envelope for the next batch of spring tags and journal pages.
Frequently Asked Questions
What paper works best for printing these paper dolls?
Matte cardstock in a weight around 65 to 80 lb gives the cleanest cut and holds colour well. Avoid glossy photo paper, it resists scissors and smudges with repeated handling once cut out.
What printer settings give the sharpest result?
Print at actual size or 100 percent scale, never fit to page, so every doll matches its intended size for cards and tags. Choose the best or highest quality photo setting for crisp colour and clean fine lines.
How do you cut out small details like bonnets and bows?
Cut the main outline first with small detail scissors, then work slowly around narrow bits like ribbon ends and bonnet ties. A craft knife on a cutting mat handles tight inside corners more cleanly than scissors.
How can you make a paper doll stand up on a shelf or table?
Fold a small tab at the base of the doll and attach it to a folded cardstock stand, or score a straight fold directly behind the feet. Either option lets the doll stand upright without extra glue showing.
Can these dolls be used for pop up or 3D cards?
Yes, foam adhesive dots raise the doll off a flat card front for an easy pop up look without any folding. Layer a second smaller piece, like a basket or egg, on its own foam dot for extra depth.
