This printable scrapbook paper set gathers a whole spring garden onto 24 light, fresh sheets, built for Easter cards, garden journals and any spread that wants a hit of new-season color. Expect daffodils, tulips, robin eggs, hyacinths and a run of gingham, ticking and polka dot basics to tie it all together.
Print on US Letter, either borderless or with a trim after printing to clear the white edge, and choose a matte paper or cardstock so the colors stay soft and true for journals and card fronts alike.
Using these images: free for personal projects such as printing, coloring, cards, journals and gifts. Handmade items that include them may be sold up to 30 pieces per design. More than that is commercial use and is not permitted, and neither is selling or sharing the images themselves or passing them off as your own. Please ask before any other use.
Spring Bulb Florals
Open with daffodils and narcissus scattered loose across a pale sky blue ground, a cheerful base for an Easter card front or the first page of a garden journal.
Rows of tulips in pink, red and lilac march across white, good as a card mat behind a small egg sticker or cut diorama piece.
A sage toile of birds, nests and blossoming branches on white works beautifully as a folio cover, and pairs well with the Scattered Daffodils Paper for a two-tone Easter set.
Small blue robin eggs scatter across white, a quiet base for a photo on a garden journal page or tucked behind a nest cutout. See more egg and nest ideas in the bird nest junk journal pages.
Lily of the valley sprigs repeat in a half-drop across pale mint, a soft lining for a small gift box or an envelope meant for a spring card.
Pale green and white gingham gives the set a plain base, ideal under a journal photo where the pattern should stay in the background.
Spring Bulb Florals
Hyacinths in purple and pink cluster across white, a strong card mat choice behind a small painted egg or paper flower.
Apple blossom branches toss loosely across soft blush, a pretty wrap for a small spring gift alongside a ribbon.
Birds and Garden Life
Tiny garden birds and seed heads dot a pale aqua ground, a natural pocket lining for a nature journal or seed packet keepsake.
Raindrops and tiny umbrellas scatter over a soft blue ground, a gentle base for an April showers page in a garden journal.
Rows of a daisy chain border repeat down white, useful as a card mat edge or trimmed into strips for a journal spine wrap.
Thin lilac stripes run between tiny violets, a calm cover choice for a small folio that holds pressed flowers or garden notes.
Purple and white crocuses spread across a pale green ground, a good match for the Pale Green Gingham Paper in a layered card design.
Polka dots in pink, mint and blue scatter over white, a simple gift wrap choice when the occasion calls for something playful rather than floral.
Snowdrop clusters sit on a pale gray-blue ground, a quiet envelope lining for an early spring card before the garden fully wakes.
Birds and Garden Life
Ladybugs and clover leaves toss across white, a cheerful pocket lining for a kids’ nature journal or a spring scrapbook page.
Birdhouses and blossom twigs scatter across pale mint, a sweet book cover for a garden diary or a card mat behind a small paper birdhouse. Try it with the robin pages in the robin junk journal set.
Pansy faces pack a dense all-over floral on white, strong enough to stand alone as a journal page base without any added photo.
Sky blue ticking stripes carry tiny clouds between them, a light folio cover for travel notes or a weather-watching garden journal.
A soft pink primrose ditsy print covers white in small repeats, a gentle base behind a photo corner or a pressed flower on a journal page.
Butterflies with lace-patterned wings drift over a pale lilac ground, a delicate card mat behind a cut paper egg or small diorama piece. Browse more scene ideas in paper diorama for pairing options.
Cherry blossom petals drift across a pale blush ground, a soft wrap for a small spring gift or a book cover for a keepsake album.
A pastel plaid in pink, mint and lilac closes out the checks group, a steady base for a layered card front or a journal pocket.
Sprigs of mint and tiny white flowers close the set on soft green, a calm final page for a garden journal or a lining for the back of a handmade card.
What to Do Next
Pick a handful of sheets that suit the card or journal spread in front of you, print them on matte cardstock, and trim to size before you start gluing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What paper weight works best for these printable scrapbook paper sheets?
A weight between 65 lb and 110 lb cardstock works best, since it holds up to folding, gluing and trimming without buckling. Lighter paper suits envelope linings, while heavier cardstock suits card fronts and folio covers.
Can I print these borderless on US Letter?
Yes, most home printers offer a borderless setting for US Letter that prints the pattern edge to edge with no trimming needed. If your printer lacks that option, print with a small margin and trim it off with a paper trimmer.
Do these papers work on A4 instead of US Letter?
Yes, A4 works fine, though the proportions differ slightly from US Letter so a touch may trim off one edge. Choose the fit to page option in your print dialog rather than stretch to fill the sheet.
Can I use these sheets as wrapping paper for small gifts?
Yes, several of the all-over prints, like the cherry blossom and apple blossom sheets, work well as wrap for small boxes or flat gifts. Print a few sheets and tape them together for larger items.
How many sheets should I print to start a spring journal?
Start with six to eight sheets covering a mix of florals, a check or stripe, and a bird print for variety across pages. Print extras of favorites like the gingham or ticking since plain backgrounds get reused often.
