Coloring pages aesthetic sets are built for slow evenings, not fast crafts, and this one gathers 23 of them around a single mood: soft bedrooms, little cafés, girls with flowers and corners full of plants. Every scene stays calm and clean, with no lettering to work around, just rooms and quiet moments ready for your own colors.
Print on plain printer paper for a quick test page, then switch to a heavier matte paper once you know which pens you like, since thin paper lets marker ink bleed through. Set your printer to its best or photo quality setting for crisp lines, and trim any edge you plan to frame or glue into a journal.
Using these images: free for personal projects such as printing, coloring, cards, journals and gifts. Handmade items that include them may be sold up to 30 pieces per design. More than that is commercial use and is not permitted, and neither is selling or sharing the images themselves or passing them off as your own. Please ask before any other use.
Bedrooms
Soft and slow, this one suits anyone who wants a long session with no rush, since the canopy drapes, fairy lights and curled-up sleeping cat all give you plenty of small shapes to fill one at a time.
Younger colorers can keep the bedding simple with two or three flat colors, while a more confident colorer might shade the canopy fabric darker near the folds to give it some weight.
Reach for fine liners for the journal pages and the cat’s fur, then switch to colored pencils for the blanket so you can layer soft shading without harsh lines.
One trick here: leave the hat boxes mostly white or pale cream and let the hanging dresses carry the strong colors, so the eye has somewhere to rest.
That contrast between busy and plain areas is what makes a page like this feel finished rather than crowded, even before you add a single pattern.
Pair this page with the wardrobe corner above if you want a little two-page bedroom set, since both share the same soft, dressed-up mood and look well together in a frame.
Reading Nooks
A common mistake on window seat pages is coloring the cushions all one flat shade, which flattens the whole scene.
Try two or three closely related colors on the cushions instead, then keep the stack of books and the teacup in contrasting tones so the nook still reads clearly as a place to curl up.
Suits a colorer who already finished the window seat page and wants a second quiet corner, since the round window and floor cushions here give a similar calm feeling with a slightly higher, cozier view.
Got ten minutes, this one still works: color just the armchair and the ladder fully, leave the tall shelves as uncolored line work, and the page still looks complete enough to stop there.
Come back later for the rest of the shelves if the mood strikes, since nothing about the scene demands every inch be filled in one sitting.
Ask a child coloring alongside you what song the girl might be listening to while she looks out over the street below, and let that answer guide which colors they pick for the sky.
Cafés and Balconies
Start with the hanging plants in the window if you want an easy win, since greens are forgiving and quick to layer, then work down to the counter and the two empty stools.
If you like this one, the sidewalk café table later in this set makes a natural pair, since both share the same relaxed, just-stepped-out feeling.
Suits anyone who already colored the corner café above and wants its outdoor companion, since the two empty cups, small vase and folded newspaper here feel like a continuation of the same quiet morning.
Fine liners work well on the bistro set’s thin iron lines, while colored pencils suit the potted geraniums, so you may want both on hand for this one.
Start with the string lights overhead, since coloring them first keeps you from smudging a finished tablecloth later as your hand moves across the page.
Once colored, this page frames beautifully as a small art print for a bedroom wall, since the basket, daisy vase and record player sit together like a still life rather than a busy scene.
Girls With Flowers
This girl with long wavy hair and a big bouquet of peonies suits a colorer who wants one strong focal point rather than a whole room full of small objects to fill.
Beginners can keep the hair one soft shade and let the peonies carry most of the color, while someone more confident can add gentle highlights through the waves with a lighter pencil.
Outline the roses and butterflies first in a darker color before filling them in, so the girl’s dreamy face stays the calm center of the page instead of competing with the busier border around it.
A common mistake here is coloring the row of flowering shrubs all the same green, which makes the background feel flat behind the bike.
Vary the greens leaf by leaf instead, and save your brightest color for the sun hat, so the eye still finds the girl first even with so much flowering detail around her.
Pairs well with the peonies page earlier in this set if you want two flower-focused sheets side by side, since both lean on soft petals and a relaxed, unhurried mood.
Creative Corners
Markers suit the broad shapes of the canvas on the easel, while a fine liner keeps the girl’s messy bun and the window frame crisp and controlled.
Start with the view through the window behind her, since that background sets the light for everything else you color afterward on the page.
Suits a colorer who wants a short, calm session, since the laptop, lamp and mug give just enough detail to finish in one sitting without feeling rushed.
Got ten minutes, color just the buckets of tulips first, since their rounded shapes are quick and satisfying, then leave the ribbon spools and shears for a second short sitting.
There is no need to finish a page like this in one go, and treating it as two small sessions often feels calmer than one long one.
Plant Corners
Colored pencils let you build up the layered greens of ferns, cacti and trailing ivy slowly, which suits this page better than markers if you want soft shading between each pot.
Pairs naturally with the plant shelf above, since both are built from small repeated shapes, jars and pots alike, that reward patient, slow coloring rather than quick broad strokes.
Try keeping the glass jars mostly uncolored or very pale, so the teacups and little radio beside them stand out as the warmer, more colorful part of the shelf.
Suits someone who wants a bigger, slower project, since the hanging plants, wicker chairs and sleeping dog spread detail across the whole page rather than in one tight corner.
A common mistake is coloring the candles too brightly, which pulls focus from the clawfoot tub that should anchor the page.
Keep the candle flames soft and warm, let the plants on the windowsill carry the greens, and save your strongest color for the tub itself so the room still feels like a place to soak and unwind.
What to Do Next
Pick whichever room or girl catches your eye first, print a few sheets at once, and settle in with your pencils or markers for a slow, screen-free hour.
Frequently Asked Questions
What paper works best for these aesthetic coloring pages?
A matte printer paper around 24 to 32 lb weight works best, since it is thick enough to stop most markers bleeding through while still feeding smoothly through a home printer.
What printer settings give the crispest lines?
Set your printer to its best or photo quality mode on plain or matte paper, since draft settings often print the fine details of these scenes too faint to see clearly once colored.
Can I print these pages smaller to fit a journal?
Yes, most printers let you scale a page down to half size or fit it to a smaller sheet before printing, which works well for gluing into a journal or planner.
Do markers or colored pencils work better on these scenes?
Colored pencils suit the fine detail on these pages best, since they let you shade softly between small objects, while markers work well for bold flat areas like a dress or a wall.
How do I stop marker ink bleeding through onto the next page?
Slide a spare sheet of paper behind the page while coloring, since this catches any bleed-through and protects whatever you printed on the other side or the page underneath it.
