Table of Contents
These vintage Christmas stickers gather the sort of pieces you might find in a box left in a grandmother’s attic: blown glass ornaments, antique toys, old Father Christmas figures, candlelight and holly. Each sheet holds a small family of objects from that old-fashioned world, sorted into twenty four sets so you can pick exactly the mood a page needs, from a parlor tree to a Christmas Eve mantel.
Print the sheets on printable sticker paper for a peel-and-stick set, or use plain paper and a glue stick if that is what you have on hand. Print at actual size rather than letting the printer scale the page, and cut around each piece leaving a thin white edge so nothing looks clipped too close.
Using these images: free for personal projects such as printing, coloring, cards, journals and gifts. Handmade items that include them may be sold up to 30 pieces per design. More than that is commercial use and is not permitted, and neither is selling or sharing the images themselves or passing them off as your own. Please ask before any other use.
Antique Toys and Nursery
Six blown glass treasures sit together on this sheet: a glass kugel, a blown glass bird, a tinsel star, a glass pickle, a silvered pinecone and a glass acorn, each one shaped the way Victorian glassblowers once made them by hand.
Print this one on sticker paper if you want the glass to catch a bit of shine against the page, since the smooth finish suits reflective ornaments better than plain paper does. Pair it with the Candlelight Stickers below for a mantel-and-tree spread, tucking a kugel next to a lit taper on the same page.
A tin soldier, a dapple rocking horse, a porcelain doll, a jack in the box, a wooden ark and a spinning top fill this sheet, the sort of worn and well-loved toys found under a Victorian tree.
Leave the thin white border around each piece when you cut this sheet apart, especially around the hoop and stick, since a narrow curved shape loses its charm if the scissors cut too close.
The set holds a toy drum, a hoop and stick, a wooden pull duck, a picture book with a blank cover, a cloth ball and a doll pram, good for a page about a quiet Victorian playroom or a nostalgic gift tag for a child.
Old Father Christmas Figures
Four figures from an older, quieter Christmas tradition appear here: a Father Christmas in a green robe, a Belsnickel carrying a lantern, a Saint Nicholas with a staff and a little wooden sleigh beside them.
Use plain paper and a glue stick for this sheet if the figures will sit inside a vintage Christmas junk journal page, where a flatter finish blends in better than a glossy sticker surface would against aged paper.
A paper cornucopia, a feather tree, a string of glass beads, a spun cotton angel, a wax angel and a tin candle clip make up this sheet, all drawn as the sort of handmade trimmings a parlor tree once carried before electric lights arrived.
Victorian Sweets and Skating
A sugar plum dish, a marzipan pig, a candy cone, a plum pudding, a ribbon candy jar and a gingerbread heart sit on one sheet, perfect for a baking page or a tag tucked into a tin of homemade treats.
Five minutes is enough to turn this sheet into a finished card: cut out the fur muff and the lace-up skates, glue them to a folded card with a line of holly from another sheet, and the whole thing is done before the glue sets.
The set also includes a velvet bonnet, a wool cape and a carved sled, enough pieces to build a whole small skating scene across a journal spread if you want to take it further.
Holly, Candlelight and Greenery
A holly sprig, an ivy trail, a mistletoe ball, a rosehip cluster, a laurel bunch and a pine bough with a ribbon give you six ways to border a page or frame a greeting without drawing a single leaf yourself.
A craft knife helps most on this sheet, since the brass candlestick and the chamberstick both have narrow stems that plain scissors tend to round off by accident.
The sheet carries a brass candlestick, a beeswax taper, a chamberstick, a candle lantern, a snuffer and a carved candle box, enough for a whole mantel of candlelight across a two-page journal spread. Try grouping three or four together along the bottom of a page for a window-ledge effect.
A pressed fern, a dried orange slice, a cinnamon bundle, a dried rose, a sprig of juniper and a star anise round out the greenery theme with the softer, dried pieces often tucked into old recipe boxes and letters.
Kitchen and Dinner
Six kitchen pieces fill this sheet: a copper pudding mold, a cake stand, a spice box, a mixing bowl, a tin of mince pies and a jelly mold, all drawn for anyone building a baking page or a recipe card border.
Gluing this sheet straight onto plain cardstock works just as well as sticker paper does, since the roast goose and the silver tureen read clearly either way once cut out.
A roast goose, a silver tureen, a carving set, a crystal decanter, a gravy boat and a bowl of walnuts make up the set, good for a festive dinner page or a place card at a holiday table.
Bells and Clocks
A brass hand bell, a sleigh bell strap, a church bell, a silver bell, a bell pull and a cluster of jingle bells give the whole set a sound to go with its sight, useful scattered along the edge of a Christmas card.
A mantel clock, a pocket watch, a brass key, a key ring, a candle clock and an hourglass suit a Christmas Eve page about waiting for morning, or a planner week that counts down the days before the holiday.
Pair this sheet with the Parlor Bells Stickers above for a travel-and-sound theme, since a horse in a blanket looks right beside a sleigh bell strap on the same page.
The set includes a red sleigh, a horse in a blanket, a mail coach, a carriage lamp, a horseshoe and a pair of reins, enough to carry a whole journey across a journal spread about Christmas Eve travel.
Cards and Winter Birds
A robin on a snowy branch, a cottage in snow, a church in moonlight, a horse drawn coach, a dove and a pair of mittens recreate the small scenes that once filled old postcards, good for an envelope or the front of a handmade card.
Six garden birds sit on this sheet drawn in an old-fashioned style: a bullfinch, a wren on ivy, a robin on a spade handle, a goldfinch, a snowy owl and a bird nest with holly, a set that works well alongside the bird junk journal pages if you keep a nature-themed journal running through winter.
Velvet, Lace and Gifts
A velvet bow, a lace collar, a cameo brooch, a hat pin, a pair of gloves and a beaded purse bring a touch of Victorian dress to a card or journal page about getting ready for a Christmas party.
Write a small note on a plain tag and tuck it under one of these stickers for an instant wrapped-present look: the paper wrapped parcel and the hatbox both read well as a stand-in for a real gift on a flat card.
A jewelry casket, a book tied with ribbon, a fan and a perfume bottle finish the set, giving you six different gift shapes to scatter across a page about giving and receiving.
Angels and Stockings
A cherub with a trumpet, a praying angel, a sleeping cherub, an angel with a harp, an angel tree topper and a star angel give a soft, old-fashioned finish to any page that needs a quiet corner of heaven, worth pairing with the Christmas ornament drawing lessons if you like adding a few hand-drawn baubles alongside the printed pieces.
Six stockings fill this sheet in six different materials: a knitted stocking, a lace stocking, a velvet stocking with a cuff, an embroidered stocking, a felt stocking and a striped wool stocking, useful as a set of small gift tags once names are written across the cuffs.
A paper cracker, a paper crown, a tiny whistle, a fortune fish, a silver charm and a cracker snap round out this group with the small party favors that once came tucked inside a Victorian Christmas cracker.
Church and Snow Globes
A chapel with a steeple, a stained glass window, a candle chandelier, a hymnal with a blank cover, a manger and a wreath on a pew bring a quieter, more reverent note to the set, well suited to a page inspired by the library junk journal pages if you enjoy building whole small rooms out of printed pieces.
The last sheet in the set closes it with six wintry collectibles: a glass snow globe, a carved music box, a dancing figure, a glass dome with a tree, a winding key and a velvet box.
What to Do Next
Print the sheets you like first, or work through all twenty four over a few quiet evenings, and start building a journal, a stack of cards or a set of gift tags with a little Victorian Christmas tucked into each one.
Frequently Asked Questions
What paper works best for vintage Christmas stickers?
Printable sticker paper gives the cleanest peel-and-stick finish. Matte sticker paper suits this set best since it keeps the ink look soft rather than glossy; plain paper and a glue stick work just as well for journal pages.
What printer settings should I use?
Print at actual size, not fit to page, so every object stays the size it was drawn. Choose the best or photo quality setting if your printer offers one, since it keeps the fine grey outlines sharp.
How do I cut out the small curved pieces neatly?
Use a craft knife for inner curves like candlestick stems or bell handles that scissors tend to round off. Turn the paper rather than the blade, and leave a thin white border around each piece instead of cutting exactly on the line.
Can I use these stickers on handmade gifts and cards?
Yes, they work well on gift tags, wrapped parcels, card fronts and envelope flaps. Mixing two or three sheets, such as the angels and the holly, gives a wrapped gift a layered, old-fashioned look in under five minutes.
How do I plan a full journal spread with this set?
Pick two or three sheets from the same group, such as Candlelight and Bells and Clocks, and scatter pieces across both pages before gluing anything down. This keeps the spread balanced rather than crowded on one side.
